Tory promise vs Tawd River reality (2): Tories off their trollies

02.14.11 | Comment?

Continuing my photo essay on the difference between Tory promises and reality when it comes to Tawd Valley management, here’s trolley-based part 2:

Tory Promise 2, email 26th January 2011:

The Trolleys [sic] are being brought to the attention of ‘TrolleyWatch’ this afternoon with a request that they arrange removal. If they are unable or unwilling, then our Rangers will remove them asap.

Tawd reality 2, photos taken 13 February 2011:

Oh, and all this despite the Council getting its name in light in a 2007 publication for its marvellous trolley management scheme in partnership with the supermarket (see number 4 in this list of Tory failure from 2008).  That wouldn’t have been empty rhetoric now, would it?
