Being Labour

Move along please – no disloyalty here

08.01.08 | Comment?

I feel I must comment on the future of the Labour party, but just to be one the safe side I need to make mention of a few people first –  you know, just to avoid any suggestion that I’m deliberately avoiding mentioning their name and this is a sign of disloyalty, duplicity or both.

So I’d just like to mention Gordon Brown, the whole of his cabinet,  my MP, The General Secretary, all the NEC, my Regional Labour party Director, my CLP officers, my Branch officers including me just in case, my Group leader, my deputy Group leader, the group whip.  And anyone else who knows me.  If I’ve left anyone out I’m more than happy to add them in later.

Anyway, on the substantive issue of the Labour Party, Id’ just like to say I’m a Labour voter, and I support Labour.

I hope this clears up any possible confusion that may arise in the national media about my intentions and my relations with other members of the party.
